Focus on: The green Adige at Castelvecchio, the genesis of the work explained by the author
Small introduction to the work “The Green Adige at Castelvecchio,” facts and experiences that inspired its genesis.

Under the majestic arches of the Castelvecchio Bridge, I’ve passed hundreds of times, navigating the wonderful waters of the Adige with every kind of floating craft: kayak, rafting raft, jet ski, electric surfboard, stand-up paddleboard, even swimming with fins and hydro speed…
That day, however, for work reasons, I had the opportunity to contemplate this beautiful river from the top of the rampart walk, inside its battlements, and immediately the verses from Carducci’s nursery rhyme about King Theodoric came to mind.
In that moment, I truly felt in his place, as he gazed from the top of his castle at the flow of his green, transparent waters. On a sunny day, the contrast with the red bricks, the bright blue sky, and the emerald reflections that formed on the water filled my gaze with joy and happiness. I couldn’t help but try to capture these infinite shades on the canvas.
