Fix TalentArt is a contemporary art gallery currently operating between Vicenza and Padua. Particularly sensitive to the need to give voice and space to emerging artists, in recent years it has been committed to promoting art exhibitions, cultural events, and above all, creating a real community where the exchange of opinions and experiences enriches artists, art lovers, and collectors.

Paolo Mariani – The layered memory of the image
Paolo Mariani’s work reveals a profound tension between memory and vision, between gesture and thought. An artist with an eclectic background and a solid foundation in graphic design, photography, and even sociology, Mariani draws on decades of visual and manual experience, bringing a cultural and technical stratification to his artwork that makes it dense and complex, yet always legible. His poetics are structured like a visual diary sedimented over time: travel notes, intimate reflections, impressions gathered during a lifetime of work and observation re-emerge in the form of compositions in which pictorial material and collage dialogue with harmony and rhythm. The spatula spreads acrylics on colored paper, smoothing out contrasts and creating transparencies that are also metaphors: nothing is ever completely revealed, everything refers to something else, to somewhere else.
The dual nature of the work, iconographic and introspective, recounts places seen and moods experienced, without ever succumbing to illustration. The architecture, spaces, and cities are evoked rather than described, filtered through a gaze that captures essence rather than form. Mariani, with his background in monumental restoration and his attention to technical detail, brings a rare constructive care to painting: each work is constructed as a unique object, where the hand of the craftsman is recognizable, but also the mind of the thinker. His art is cultured but accessible, silent but not mute. It is an invitation to look slowly, to read the images as one reads the pages of a travel journal: with respect, curiosity, and empathy. In a fragmented present, Paolo Mariani’s work offers itself as a place to rediscover coherence, depth, and beauty.
