“Murano, red and black glass fish – Agenda 1999 ”.
Medium-sized work (50×60 cm), created in the last months of 2025. It was presented to the public for the first time at ExpoArte Montichiari and the collective exhibition “Geometrie dell’anima” (Geometries of the Soul) at the C.U.B.O. space in Vicenza.
Until then, I had never managed to visit an artistic glassworks in Murano. That morning, however, I had already finished my work in Venice by 10 a.m., so I was finally able to visit a glass factory in Murano. It was a very interesting and evocative experience, so much so that that same night I dreamed of my aquarium invaded by those red and black glass fish that I had observed that afternoon in the mirrored shelves of the exhibition hall, all lined up like toy soldiers of various shapes and sizes.
