We gladly accepted the invitation to participate by providing the work \u201cthe green Adige at Castelvecchio\u201d<\/strong> for the premiere of the docu-film \u201cThe Machine City\u201d by Dario Biello<\/strong>, held on November 19, 2024 at the Ristori Theater. [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.27.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text admin_label=”txt ” _builder_version=”4.27.3″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The film, combines interesting archival materials (such as interviews with Mario Botta<\/strong>, Milo Manara<\/strong>, and Tobia Scarpa<\/strong>) with a purely narrative cue, following the journey of a photographer and researcher, played by Alessandro Preziosi<\/strong>, as he discovers the futurist identity of Verona<\/strong>. The protagonist, accompanied by a mysterious female figure aboard a 1927 Lancia Siluro, travels through symbols and stories of the 20th century, culminating at the MAXXI in Rome<\/strong>, where contemporary art meets the past. <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_3,1_3,1_3″ use_custom_gutter=”on” gutter_width=”2″ make_equal=”on” _builder_version=”4.27.3″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text admin_label=”txt ” _builder_version=”4.27.3″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n An exhibition was set up in the theater foyer with images, texts and documents that were used in the research for the making of the film. The film, which has already been screened at the Rome Film Festival 2024 <\/strong>on the occasion of UNESCO\u2019s Cinedays<\/strong>, is part of the Italia Novecento series produced by Diego Biello for Filmedea <\/strong>in collaboration with Luce Cinecitt\u00e0<\/strong>\/Fondazione Maxxi<\/strong>\/ANRCA<\/strong> and \u201crepresents a journey through archival documents and interviews with more than 30 experts to offer a deep and multifaceted view of the industrial city and its transformation,\u201d as explained by the president of the Verona Order of Architects, Matteo Faustini. <\/p>\n
