A few days have passed, but the excitement is still fresh, and perhaps words alone are not enough to fully convey it.
\nWhat makes this occasion particularly meaningful\u2014at least for me\u2014is the context in which it took place. The initiative, in fact, was part of the celebrations marking the centennial of Aeropittura futurista (Futurist Aeropainting)<\/strong>, but it did not merely commemorate an extraordinary period in Italian art; it also sought to explore what its legacy might be today and how some of its principles might continue to live on in contemporary artistic practice.<\/p>\n

[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]I would therefore like to express my sincere gratitude to the Honorable Rosaria Tassinari,<\/b> a member of the Culture Committee of the Chamber of Deputies<\/b>, who organized this event. Through a personal and committed decision, she sought to identify, within the contemporary art scene, a path capable of engaging with that tradition<\/strong>, recognizing in my work certain elements of continuity with the Aeropittura movement.
\nI am pleased to quote his words: \u201cThe centennial anniversary of Aeropittura futurista and the works of Paolo Mariani represent an important opportunity to highlight a fundamental chapter in the history of Italian art. Celebrating this anniversary means paying tribute to a movement that was able to interpret the relationship between art, technology, and modernity with courage and innovation. Paolo Mariani’s works help keep this cultural heritage alive, offering the public a valuable testament to our country’s creativity and artistic exploration. Their reflections have helped place my work within a broader historical and critical context, offering those present further perspectives on what I continue to refer to\u2014with a smile\u2014as my innate\u2026 \u201cFuturist Attraction.\u201d[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.7″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text admin_label=”txt ” _builder_version=”4.27.7″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”]Certain insights from Aeropittura futurista \u2014dynamism, the perception of space, and the relationship between technology, movement, and vision\u2014still have much to offer contemporary art. Being selected, as part of the centennial celebrations, as a contemporary artist called upon to represent this legacy\u2014which is still very much alive\u2014is an honor that deeply moves me, and one that I consider one of the most significant moments of my career.<\/strong><\/p>\n
